Bayern 97 BU13 Select is looking for a few more players

We are looking for some enthusiastic boys to join our U13 Select Soccer team.

We have a great group of boys and 2 highly motivated coaches.

We practice at 4:30 on Weds and Thurs at HB Fuller, north field.

GU-11 Nemesis 99 Select is looking for a few more girls.

Come to practice this week with Coaches Erin Buell & Jordan Hollamon and Skills Trainer Marciano Vasquez.  

Practice is at Monday and Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:00 at Felida Field.

Unlike other are SW Washington select programs, our U11 select girls train on the same field with the Nemesis 99 Premier yellow team, under the guidance of Victor Garcette.  

This program focuses on individual skills development, team skills development and on field awareness.  Games will be played in the Portland Metro region with a trip to Washington State Cup at the end of the season

Coach Erin is a former player for the Portland ChristianCoach

Jordan is a current FCSC Nemesis GU18 player - someone the girls can relate to

Coach Marciano is a former semi-pro player and a top trainer

Overseeing our Nemesis 99 Select Blue team are: Coach Victor who is well known in the area and has taken players and teams to national prominence.  He is a National C license coach with years of experience.

Director of Coaching  Joe Frimpong is a National B licence coach.

This will be an exciting year for a special group of girls, come and join them.

Now entering its fifth season, we're proud to offer select soccer as part of Salmon Creek Soccer Club's mission to provide a healthy and emotionally nurturing program for youth, with an emphasis upon developing a positive self-image and self-confidence, while challenging oneself to succeed.

As compared to state-level (premier) teams, such as FC Salmon Creek, select (district-level) programs form teams which play local summer tournaments, then participate in a local district league during the fall season. Some teams also choose to compete in the end-of-the-year state tournament, beginning in January. SC Select coaches are volunteers, but highly-qualified to coach at this level. This program offers players a more competitive experience than our recreational program, with financial costs greater than recreational play--but substantially lower than participating on a state-level (premier) team.

SC Select and FC Salmon Creek operate under the auspices of Salmon Creek Soccer Club, meeting the differing needs of Salmon Creek's players and families. Salmon Creek Soccer Club's ALC (Advanced Level Competition) Committee oversees the administration of both advanced divisions.

2010 tryouts for SC Select will be held at Felida Park; watch the SCSC main page for additional details/dates as they become available.
